BOONSBORO, MARYLAND: I really sorry for atheists. They see a great sunset, sunrise, etc; they’ve got no one to thank. I, however, being the poor primitive person who still believes in a supreme being and (worse yet according to some) a follower of Christ, believe that “every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights” (James 1:17a). That Jesus the Christ was the agent of creation and took the time to provide us with such variety.
While standing at the farmers market, I came across a table groaning under a load of gourds. The colors were inviting and I took the opportunity to fill the frame with harvest color. The final result is shown above with a “paint daub” filter applied.
